Mr. Cajetan Osisioma is a Consultant to the firm. Mr. Osisioma is a member of the Imo State Customary Court. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B) from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria where he graduated in 2007 as one of the best graduating students and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in November 2008.
Mr. Osisioma’s core practice areas are litigation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Mr. Osisioma was a research and tutorial assistance throughout his undergraduate studies. He had worked with other reputable firms in Lagos, where he acquired legal experience spanning diverse areas of law including commercial and corporate law practice, aviation law and practice, family law, real estate, and recovery of property and debts. He is also well-versed in the law of, and practice dealing with the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments or international judgments and arbitral awards in Nigeria.
Mr. Osisioma has appeared before domestic and international courts and tribunals and has substantial transactional and litigation experience spanning corporate finance and capital market matters, corporate structuring and restructuring, immigration law and practice, labour and employment law, real estate and probate practice, insurance and tax, dispute resolution and intellectual property matters, particularly trade mark issues and copyright matters.
In relation to corporate and commercial practice, Mr. Osisioma has applied to and obtained from the Central Bank of Nigerian (CBN), Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) permits and licences for carrying out financial transactions and dealings in securities both for local and international clients. Mr. Osisioma handles the Incorporation of Companies and registration of business with NIPC, Establishment of Joint Ventures, Incorporation of Incorporated Trustees and Charitable Trusts, Share Reconstructions, the Negotiating and Drafting of MoUs, Shareholders Agreements and Alteration of Name, Objects and Articles of Association of corporate entities. Applying and obtaining from the MOI and the NIS, Business permit, Expatriate quotas and Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Alien Cards (CERPAC). Mr. Osisioma has also registered Technical and Service Agreements with NOTAP
